FundedFirm 3.0: Instant Daily Funded Accounts Rules and Payouts

FundedFirm 3.0 is live. The release adds a new funded account, a faster payout path, a redesigned site, and quicker chat support across languages. The product at the center of the update is Instant Daily: a funded account from the day you buy it, with no evaluation phase and no profit target to hit before a payout.

That access comes with a tighter risk model than the standard Instant account. Daily and overall loss lines trail equity. Open loss is capped. A stop-loss is required. Weekend holds are closed. Payout approval is listed at within 30 minutes, on a fixed 70% profit split.

This guide walks through what 3.0 actually changes, how Instant Daily works in numbers, and how it sits next to 1 Step, 2 Step, and standard Instant. Figures below are taken from the live trading rules. Fees and wording can change, so confirm the account you are buying before you pay.

What FundedFirm 3.0 Puts on the Site

The site banner rotates four lines:

  • New Daily Instant Account. Instant Daily is now its own tab on the rules page, next to Step 1, Step 2, and Instant.
  • 30min Instant Daily Payouts. The Instant Daily payout table lists approval within 30 minutes.
  • All new look and feel. The public site has been redesigned around the four account types.
  • Faster chat support in all languages. Support is presented as quicker, and available across languages.

There is no separate changelog page. The binding detail is on the rules tabs and the challenge cards. Read those, not the banner alone, before you size a trade.

FundedFirm frames its programs as skill-based evaluations on simulated accounts. Payouts depend on staying inside the program rules.

Instant Daily, the Account 3.0 Is Built Around

Instant Daily is funded on day one. You do not pass a profit target to unlock a payout. You trade, you stay inside the limits, and you request a reward once the payout conditions are met.

The rules page states the tradeoff in plain language: the account runs on a tighter risk model than standard Instant, and the trailing drawdown applies from the first day. Every limit on that tab is a hard limit. Breaching one ends the account.

Account sizes

Instant Daily is offered from $5,000 to $18,000. The current fee for each size is on the challenge selector. 1 Step, 2 Step, and standard Instant still use the larger $5,000 to $100,000 range.

The account is valid for 30 days from purchase. On day 31 it expires and can no longer be traded. Buy on 1 March and the account stays active through 30 March, then expires on 31 March.

Markets and leverage

Instant Daily can trade forex, precious metals, indices, energy commodities, and digital currency. Leverage is 1:30 on each of those classes.

1 Step and 2 Step use a higher schedule: 1:100 on forex, metals, indices, and energies, and 1:50 on digital currency. Standard Instant matches Instant Daily at 1:30. If your plan needs the higher challenge leverage, Instant Daily is the wrong account.

What you can hold

News trading is allowed, including central-bank decisions and major economic releases. Slippage during those events still counts. If a stop fills through the daily or overall line because of liquidity, the rules treat that as a valid breach.

Overnight holding is allowed. You can carry a position from one session into the next.

Weekend holding is not allowed. Every position has to be closed before the market closes for the weekend. Standard Instant still allows weekend holds. Instant Daily does not. A Friday swing that you would normally leave open has to be flat before the close.

There is no evaluation clock and no profit target. There is a 30-day life on the account, so the setups you take have to fit that window.

How the Instant Daily Drawdown Actually Works

Two trailing lines run at the same time. Both count floating and closed results. Touching either line is a breach.

Daily trailing floor: 3%

The day’s allowance is 3% of starting balance or equity at the beginning of the trading day. The breach line then trails the highest equity of that day, including floating profit. When equity prints a new high, the line moves up. It does not move back down during that day.

The rules page uses a $500 figure so the arithmetic stays obvious. Scale the same percentages to the account you buy:

  • Start at $500. Allowance is $15. The line starts at $485.
  • Equity rises to $520. The line trails up to $505.
  • Equity falls back. The line stays at $505. Touching $505 is a breach.
  • If equity never makes a new high, the line stays at $485.

On a $5,000 Instant Daily account, 3% is $150, so the day opens with the floor at $4,850. On an $18,000 account, 3% is $540, so the floor opens at $17,460. A new equity high pulls that floor up and leaves it there until the day resets.

The next day starts clean. A day that opens at $510 on the sample account gets a new allowance of $15.30, so the line starts at $494.70 and trails that day’s highs only. Yesterday’s high does not carry over.

The day resets at 10:00 PM UTC. The day’s allowance and the day’s high are both taken from that point.

Overall trailing line: 4%

The overall allowance is 4% of the balance or equity the account started with. This line trails the all-time high of equity for the life of the account. It moves up with a new high and does not move back down.

On the $500 sample:

  • Allowance is $20. The line starts at $480.
  • Equity rises to $520. The line trails to $500.
  • A later drop that touches $500 breaches the account, even if the daily floor has already reset.

On a fresh $5,000 account the overall line starts at $4,800. On a fresh $18,000 account it starts at $17,280. If a $10,000 account later peaks at $11,000, the line trails to $10,560 and stays there.

Which line you hit first

At the start, the daily floor sits above the overall line. The published $500 snapshot shows the daily floor at $485 and the overall line at $480. The daily floor is the limit you meet first while both are still near the start.

Equity is sampled continuously. A news spike can cut through both lines between one price and the next. When that happens, the daily floor is checked first and the account is recorded as a drawdown breach. The overall check is skipped for that event, so a fast loss is not reported to you as an overall-loss breach.

The 1% open-loss cap

The combined floating loss on open positions must stay inside 1% of the account size. On a $5,000 account that is $50. On an $18,000 account that is $180.

This is separate from the trailing lines. You can be well above the daily floor and still breach if the open book is showing more than 1% against you. That rule ends wide-stop swing trades and multi-position gold exposure on Instant Daily. Size the position so the worst open loss you will tolerate is under that 1% cap, and under the distance to the trailing floor.

Stop-Loss, Hold Time, and Soft Breaches

Instant Daily adds two execution rules that 1 Step and 2 Step do not spell out the same way.

Stop-loss. A stop must be on the trade when you enter. If it is missing, you have 1 minute after execution to attach one. Open at 10:15:20 and the stop must be on by 10:16:20. Missing that window is a soft breach. You can record up to 2 soft breaches. FundedFirm reserves the right to disable the account on the 3rd.

Minimum hold. Each trade must stay open at least 60 seconds to count as valid. Closing at 45 seconds is a soft breach. You can record up to 10 of these. The firm reserves the right to disable the account on the 11th.

A soft breach is not the same event as a drawdown breach. A drawdown breach, a hedging breach, or a broken hard limit ends the account. Soft breaches are a count. They still end the account if you use the count up.

Tick scalping and latency-style in-and-out trades are also listed under practices to avoid. A 60-second minimum hold and a required stop remove the usual way those strategies are run.

Payouts: 70% Split, 30-Minute Approval

Instant Daily pays a fixed 70% profit share. There is no payout add-on to switch the split higher.

TermInstant Daily
Profit split70%, fixed
Payout approvalWithin 30 minutes
Profitable trading days3, before the first payout only
Consistency15% of the payout profit
Minimum withdrawal1% of the account size

The three profitable days apply only before the first payout. After that payout is approved, the requirement drops for that account.

The next payout does not start a 24-hour clock at the moment you are paid. The clock starts at your next trade. Place a trade, and you can be eligible again 24 hours later. An account that does not trade does not start the clock. The challenge card describes the reward cycle as 24h from first trade.

The consistency rule is measured against the profit inside the payout you are requesting, not against the whole life of the account. No single trade can contribute more than 15% of that payout. Entries on the same instrument, in the same direction, opened within 3 minutes, can be treated as one trade for that test. A payout built from one oversized winner will fail this rule even if the account never touched a loss line.

You also need at least 1% net profit of the account size before a payout. On a $5,000 account that is $50. On an $18,000 account that is $180.

Standard Instant is a different payout product: on-demand up to 60%, or weekly at 80%, with weekly payouts released on Wednesday from the second week. 1 Step and 2 Step use another schedule again: monthly up to 100%, biweekly 80%, weekly 60%, with the same Wednesday release for the shorter cycles, and a fee refund with the 4th reward after a passed evaluation. Instant Daily’s rules tab does not list that fee refund.

Behaviour That Still Breaches the Account

The destructive-trading section is shorter on Instant Daily than on the challenge tabs, and it is still strict.

You cannot hold a buy and a sell on the same instrument at the same time. A buy on XAUUSD at 3220 and a sell at 3240 is the example the firm uses. That hedge is not a risk tool here.

The firm also lists practices it can treat as a soft breach or a full breach:

  • Opening many identical or near-identical trades at once
  • Splitting one large position into smaller tickets to spread risk
  • Stacking or clustering on the same market or on highly correlated markets
  • Adding to losers, or martingale-style recovery
  • Ultra-short trades aimed at tick moves, feed delay, or latency
  • All-in size aimed at forcing a result
  • Copying or mirroring across FundedFirm accounts, including bots, signals, and synchronised execution
  • Using two accounts to hold opposite exposure

1 Step and 2 Step add a further layer that Instant Daily’s tab does not copy word for word: no single trade may lose more than 40% of the daily loss limit, and no trade on a pair may exceed 5 times the smallest lot you have opened on that pair. Challenge accounts can also be reviewed, and reset, when 80% or more of total profit comes from one trade. If you trade both a challenge and Instant Daily, keep the rule sets separate. The 15% payout-consistency rule on Instant Daily is not the same test as the 80% single-trade review on a challenge.

Where 1 Step, 2 Step, and Instant Still Fit

3.0 did not delete the older programs. It added a fourth model and put all four on one rules page.

A few mechanics are easy to miss on the challenge accounts.

The daily limit uses the higher of starting balance or starting equity that morning, then stays fixed for the day. Intraday profit does not widen it. Floating profit carried into the day does raise the base. On a 1 Step example from the rules page: day one opens at $500, so the 3% line is $485. Next day the balance is $510 with $10 floating, so starting equity is $520 and the line is $504.40.

Both floating and closed losses count. Equity through the line is an immediate, permanent breach.

Standard Instant accounts opened before 1 September keep the older fixed daily calculation. New Instant accounts, and an Instant account that is reset after a payout, use the 3% trailing daily line. Instant Daily does not have that legacy split. The trail is there from the first day.

Inactivity is shared in spirit. No trading for 30 consecutive days can disable an account. If you plan a long break, tell the firm first.

The same three-minute grouping appears across programs. Trades on one symbol, in one direction, opened inside three minutes, count as one trade for the risk tests that use that window.

How to Trade Instant Daily Without Donating the Account

The rules are the strategy. A clean chart setup that ignores them still breaches.

Pick the account on purpose. Use 1 Step or 2 Step if you want higher leverage, weekend holds, a longer clock, and a path toward the monthly split. Use standard Instant if you want a larger account, up to $100,000, weekend holds, and the weekly 80% option. Use Instant Daily if you want to be funded today on a $5,000 to $18,000 account, you can flat the book on Friday, and you can live with 1:30 leverage, a 1% open-loss cap, and a 30-day account.

Risk to the nearer line. On a new account the daily floor is the closer threat, and the 1% open-loss cap is closer still. On a $10,000 account, 1% is $100 of open loss. A single gold position that can float more than that against you is already a breach, even when the 3% floor is $300 away. Put the stop on at entry, and make sure the loss at that stop is inside both the 1% cap and the distance to the trailing floor.

Let winners move the floor on purpose. The daily line ratchets up with new equity highs and stays there until 10:00 PM UTC. A large unrealised winner raises the floor under the whole account. Taking partial profit, or tightening the stop, is a risk decision about that new floor, not only about the trade.

Close Friday. Overnight during the week is allowed. The weekend is not. Build the Friday exit into the plan before the session, not during the last minutes of liquidity.

Build the first payout out of several trades. Three profitable days are required before the first request, and no single trade may be more than 15% of the payout profit. One lucky position cannot be the payout. After the first approval, the next window starts when you place the next trade, then runs 24 hours.

Treat soft breaches as spent. Two missed stops, or ten sub-60-second closes, leave you on the last warning the rules describe. The 11th fast close or the 3rd missing stop is the point at which the firm says it may disable the account.

Keep news, and respect the fill. You may trade the release. You may also get slipped through the floor. That fill counts. If the 1% cap or the trailing line cannot survive the spread you see in the seconds around the event, you are not required to be in it.

What 3.0 Does Not Change

The release does not remove the prohibited list. Copy trading, cross-account hedging, martingale, clustered tickets, and latency scalping remain outside the rules on every tab.

It does not turn the account into a live brokerage account. The site’s own risk note says the programs are simulated evaluations, and that funding and payouts depend on the rules.

It does not promise a result. A 30-minute approval time is a processing claim on the Instant Daily table. It still requires the 1% minimum, the consistency test, and a clean account. A breached account does not have a payout to approve.

Chat support and the new layout are part of the public 3.0 banner. They do not change a drawdown calculation. If the banner and the rules tab ever disagree, trade the tab.

You have one minute after execution to add it. Missing that window is a soft breach. A third soft breach of this type can get the account disabled.

Does the daily trailing line reset?
Yes. It is rebuilt at 10:00 PM UTC from that day’s starting balance or equity. The overall 4% line does not reset. It trails the account’s highest equity for the life of the account.

Final Thoughts

FundedFirm 3.0 is a product change, not a slogan. Instant Daily removes the evaluation and the profit target, then replaces them with a 30-day account from $5,000 to $18,000, a 3% daily trail, a 4% overall trail, a 1% cap on open loss, a required stop, a 60-second minimum hold, no weekend positions, and a 70% payout approved on a 30-minute clock.

Traders who already pass challenges and want higher leverage, weekend holds, and the monthly split still have 1 Step and 2 Step. Traders who want a larger instant account, up to $100,000, and Friday holds still have standard Instant. Traders who want to be funded the same day, and who can trade inside a short list of hard limits, now have a specific account for that.

Read the Instant Daily tab before the first order. The banner tells you the account exists. The tab tells you the price of using it.
